It is a field guide in the traditional sense — a set of identification notes, measurements and habitat summaries — and it is not a substitute for a regional field guide, a survey protocol, a wildlife regulation, or advice from a qualified biologist or the relevant wildlife authority. Where a species is protected, where access to land is restricted, or where a licence is required, the law and the landowner decide, not this page.
